Out of Uk Dates : Section 6 SET(O)

Post by walldorfian » Fri Dec 05, 2014 11:34 am

Friends

I have a query on my dates outside uk, please.

In Section 6, we need to mention the date i entered and every instance of dates i have travelled out of uk.

Here is my story:
Tier-1(G) stamped from 15.feb.2009 onwards.
1. first entry on 07.april.2009
2. first exit on 14.april.2009 ( i came for a mini holiday to stay with my friends)
3. second entry on 24.april.2009 ( interview attended )
4. second exit on 26.april.2009
5. permanent entry on 08.sep.2009
6. series of short breaks / holidays not-more-than 180 days overall until 05.dec.2009

What reasons shall i record for my first and second entry/exits in section 6?.

PLEASE HELP!

Reason for Absence : Seeking Employment while being Employed in India?
Evidence : Nothing?

Thank you.

You need to mention all absences from UK, even if it was less period, and also the reason.

Also I think on Tier 1 (G) you don't need to be employed all the time in your qualifying period, just absences need to be justified.

So as I understand, this is your second extension done because of the absences and you were due for ILR in April 2014,

When is your ILR date now, You need to mention in a letter that you were seeking employment in the UK keeping in mind that it was the primary focus of being employed in the UK and was prepared to travel.

If you also read Pg 22, of the ILR continuous residency period employment in another country breaks this residency, not sure if this is valid for Tier 1(G).

Absences from Indian employers dont makse sense if you are not on ICT/Tier2 or sponsored visa.
