Congrats SSCG !

Looking at the timelines available at this forum I am getting a feeling that people are getting Visa between 6-8 working days.Is this correct ?

Does anyone has idea what times it takes for re-apply case ? I know the official version says 15-20 working days for EC, but if someone got visa after reapplying and can share his/her experience?

I have re-applied from Delhi on 21st Aug and still showing status as 'appl forwarded to BHC'. Quite nervous now !

Hi Marvin,

There is no problem at all in such scenario. I also applied for EC during my notice period. But I am not sure if Integra contct my organisation. In fact I talked to the person who manages the board calls and know that there was no call made.

But anyways I think it should be perfectly fine as long as the organisation can confirm your employment details as you mentioned in your application.

Cheers,
mayhsmp

is there any time limit to move to u.k. once u get EC

Post by pavam » Wed Sep 05, 2007 10:22 pm

Congrats SSCG!! :)

I've got my HSMP approval and planning to apply for EC. My cousin whose in U.K under HSMP for past 2 years told me that we need to move to u.k. withing 3 mnths of getting EC.

Nothing of this sort is mentioned in the guidelines. I called VFS Delhi and they confirmed it whereas VFS Chennai says there is no such condition.

Cud u plz let me know

1. if there is any time limit to move to u.k. once u get EC?
2. do i need to show demat acc or the proof of my investments in stocks worth approx 1.5 lacs + 2lacs cash in bank + 3 lacs for car wud be enuf?

will appreciate ur response...
thanks!!

thanks pravneet

u r rite its is not stated anywhere in the guidelines that one must move to UK within 3 months of EC approval but even i have heard that its mandatory. so senior members pls throw light on this topic.

regarding funds, i had shown around 6 lacs which included bank balance + car + epf.
if u hv stock investments then u must show it keeping in mind that u provide proper proofs for the same.
