Post by Adaman » Tue Dec 09, 2014 12:05 pm

Hi . I came to England in 2009 as a student . At tht time ukba gave me 2 years and 6 month visa . When my student visa about to finish in 2012 jan .I applied to extend my student visa they have refused it . I appealed against the decision to extend my student visa and in the same time I got married. I regester myself here in June 2012 . In July 2012 my appeal was refused again to extend my study visa . I submitted a new application in August 2012 foe spouse visa .. They gave me 2 nd half year residence permit and said I hve to applied for more three .. 2 nd half years visas to make to 10 years total to apply for indefinate visa .
Now I got two beautifull kidz one of them is 18 months and 1 is three months we both (me &mrs) still live togeTher but things aren't going right between us ..
My question is tht how ca I get infefinate asap ..
And other question wht if we both separate wht wil happen then how to get indefinate then .
Thank you

Mian-Suraj,

Your case depends on whether you made the application for your student visa within 28 days your final appeal was refused. Supposed you did, then your continuous stay would not have broken. However, if the date you received your student visa was the date of your application, I'm afraid, your continuous stay would have been broken by circa seven days.

You can always get around that though if you can provide some extenuating circumstance which prevented you from applying within 28 days of receiving the judgement.

Best wishes.

Hi guys

As I living on different address at the moment can somebody tell me how UKBA inform that your application is approved?

I mean by royal mail or courier or TNT post?

Also is tracer and Google drive is same thing or different things in forum?

Thank you for your time and support.

Hi Everyone,

Finally the wait is over for me. I received my approval today. It's dated 08/12/2014 (from Liverpool office).

Application sent: 18/08/2014
Acknowledgement received: 26/08/2014
Biometric received: 15/09/2014
Biometric recorded: 15/09/2014
Approval & Documents received: 09/12/2014
BRP received: Waiting

It seems either Liverpool vs Bristol delay, or may just be a delay at the end of the caseworker assigned with your application. I wish very best of luck to everyone waiting for their approvals. Thanks everyone !

Any idea that HO deals with applications by the date order we send application or from the date the bio metrics are done?
