True, I wrote English and Urdu where its written on the application form about preferred language for the interview, and I guess they would only speak to you up to a1 standard if they were to give an interview for settlement thank you
Its best just to write English tbh because when you write urdu they might think this individual may only speak minimal English but it shouldn't be a problem anyway if your spouse can speak basic English.

Aww. I feel sorry for you and what u said earlier that when u email them and they reply back saying nI updates. There are jus some stupid ppl sitting there. U need to email them back. Bcos this is what they told me so many times saying no updates. Then the other person saying online verification done.
Then one says no record found them the next one says intial pre assessment done. And last week they said there's no record of my GWF. Driving me crazy. They just wana make us suffer
How come one person can find the details and the other can't. So if they turn up to u no updates. So u email em back it's been 11 weeks

The rule is that the bank statements should not be more than 28 days old. Does our application time start from the day we make our online application and payment or when we actually submit the documents at gerry's?
From what I was told, it starts when you apply online.

@ket1 - I had the same issue a few times I emailed them and they would reply with no current updates etc. Then I asked them to escalate it and I received a reply a few days later on the 1st of December saying that initial checks and online verification complete, under process for further checks/ enquiries.

Inshallah we will hear soon with good news, not long to go now

Visa Granted. Allhamdulliah!!!!

RFC: 05/12/14
Collected:10/12/14
Category A Non salaried employment
No English Test taken as my wife has done MSC. NARIC equivalency certificate provided.
Only 6 months of Wage Slips and Bank Statements provided
It was an arrange marriage. No proof of communication provided prior to the marriage
if anyone need any assistance feel free to give me a shout

Just a quick question from somebody who recently travelled from Pakistan how easy it is to get the Polio certificate from the Lahore Airport and what is the procedure to acquire the Certificate of vaccination.

Congratulations mooty really happy for you. A d abt the polio vaccine its not a big thing to get one just go to any govt hospital they will giv u 2 drops of polio and will write ur name and passport number on a small yellow card and thts it. It literally take less than 5 mins. I knw coz I got one whn I went to dubai recently.
