You are zillion per cent wrong. Read question #16 in faqs.

https://www.royalmail.com/personal/rece ... 5-19350492

16. Will you redirect mail sent to me by Special Delivery™, Recorded Signed For™ and Royal Mail Tracked®?
Yes, to UK addresses only. If your new address is outside of the UK, items sent using these services will be returned to the sender. The Special Delivery Guaranteed™ next day guarantee will not be valid for redirected mail as it first needs to travel to the Royal Mail Delivery Office which serves your old address. We will still obtain a signature, or confirmation scan, on delivery where relevant when delivering to your new address.
We are unable to redirect Royal Mail Tracked 24™ and 48 restricted goods.
Dude zzzindagi I think you miss understood it. It means that you have to sign for it at your door and guaranteed deliveries will be a couple of days delayed. I have redirection for past year and I do get my sign for mail at my new address. What happened with fielddriver is a talk to up by royal mail.

Your case depends on whether you made the application for your student visa within 28 days your final appeal was refused. Supposed you did, then your continuous stay would not have broken. However, if the date you received your student visa was the date of your application, I'm afraid, your continuous stay would have been broken by circa seven days.

You can always get around that though if you can provide some extenuating circumstance which prevented you from applying within 28 days of receiving the judgement.

Best wishes.

Just received my BRP as well.

Just to mention; I made an early application as I was 39 days short of my 10 years.
But I applied for ILR anyways (rather than applying for any extension)

My Timeline:
Application sent: 22/08/2014
Application received: 26/08/2014
Payment Taken: 29/08/2014
Acknowledgement received: 01/09/2014
Biometric received: 12/09/2014
Biometric recorded: 23/09/2014
Approval date: 08/12/2014
Docs received: 09/12/2014
BRP: 10/12/2014

Best of luck every one.

Fedup of waiting .... spoken with nice lady veena @ HO

To my frustration;
She says that my application is still under process of being allocated to case worker!!! I applied on 28th Aug.

I asked for the delay .... she goes there are still huge no. of Aug application pending and might take another month to complete them!!

I tried to be cheeky by asking more specific but she says sadly this is how much she can comment on :(

Wait is killing me huh!!!

Dear All,

By the grace of God, I got my approval today. The date of approval is 08/12/2014 (from Liverpool).

I missed the biometrics card delivery from DX today but will re-arrange it.

I have updated the tracker as well.

Thanks everyone for help and support.

Good luck to everyone who are waiting. You will get there.

Hi everyone, just applied for my ILR long stay on Monday - 08/12/14.

I don't know if it is necessary for my wife to apply for dependant on me when I get my ILR.
She is currently on a Tier 1 dependant, which expires November 2016. But she will qualify for ILR long stay in March 2016.
Do I leave her on the Tier 1 or move her to dependant on ILR?

Thanks,

agogabs

Hi Guyz,

i had road traffic accident with someone else fault before couple of weeks applying for ilr and i applied for injury compensation.now a days its taking long because the police investigation takes time.my question is that should i remain confident and relax that it would not effect on my ilr application or it could go against me.

thanks

I don't see how that can possibly affect your application. You don't appear to have done anything wrong.
