Purchase History?

Post by Ginjarou » Thu Dec 11, 2014 3:33 pm

Dear All,

I'm just wondering, when applying for a FLRM, does the Home Office look at the purchases made in those six months of statements? Do they have that right and is there a section we have to sign to declare them permission to do so? Would those purchases affect their judgement?

I'm also wondering if they look at credit history and/or statements beyond the six months of statements that we provide (by using our bank details provided).

Thanks.

What has purchases got to do with your application? All they want to see is your income being the same with your payslips.
Your question isn't very clear tbh.

Apologies. I mean if they saw that someone had way more outgoings than income, would they be concerned? Or whether they could see that each month the applicant spending heavily on online casinos or something - would that hold weight in the application? Seeing as the sponsor is meant to be supporting the applicant.

I was also wondering whether they look through a longer history of the applicants spending than the six months provided through statements. Do they have the ability to look through any records?

I don't think they're interested in what you spend your money on if it's as you've stated and nothing more to your question.
All they want is your income in your statements being the same from what is on your payslips. Even if you're overdrawn, you'll be fine as long as you meet and provide all required documents.
