Cohabitation Query

Hi,

The set (O) states
"If you have a spouse or civil partner listed in section 2 of this application form who is applying
at the same time as you, please provide documentary evidence of cohabitation since you
were last granted leave (up to a maximum of two years). Evidence provided should cover the
whole period and be in the form of official letters or documents, addressed to yourself and
your spouse. "

My question is
Both of us were granted leave in Oct-2009 so is the two year period from 2009 to 2011? or is is preceding 2 years from our upcoming ILR application.

I am going to apply for an ILR on set O form on 31 Dec 2014 and I am confused about evidence of cohabitation.
How many evidences do you need to show to cover minimum of 2 years?
Is 1 evidence (utility bill) would be enough?
