Seniors pls advise on UK passport application

Hi

I am applying for UK born baby's first passport. baby was born when both parents were on ILR hence I will have to submit our BRP card to prove baby is british by birth.

Also, I am planing to change my name slightly by deed poll. Should I change my Name before baby's passport application or after?

I am asking this because

1. If I change my name before baby's passport application
a. Baby's birth certicate and my BRP card has my previous name and my new name will be slightly differnt from what is there on Birth certificate and BRP card and I will have to submit my deed poll with baby's passport application to show link between two names.
b. do you think this will be an issue with passport application as there will be a descripancy in name on BRP and application form? Obviously I will be submitting deed poll to evidence this descripancy.

2. If I change my name after baby's passport application
a. if parents names appear on the UK passport then baby's passport will have my previous name.

Parents names do not appear on British Passports for children.

If you have a valid deed poll to show the change, there should not be an issue.
