Tier 1 dependent short of 3 months for ILR

Hi

My wife is on a tier 1 dependent visa and her details are as given below:

Entry date: 11th June 2013
Expiry Date: 10th March 2015

I'm planning to apply her extension in last week of Feb 2015. However, after reading through the documentation, I came to know
that she will be getting extension for 3 years(till 10th March 2018).

This means that I have to apply one more extension for her ILR as she will be short of 3 months.

Is there any other way of getting her ILR before going for another extension??

The option is open to her to make a postal application for extension, and vary to ILR for spouse of PBS Migrant, 28 days prior to her qualifying period.
