Re-applying Tier 2 ; guidance required

Post by tier2_refused » Wed Dec 17, 2014 4:41 pm

Hi.

I got refusal (entry clearance refusal) on my tier 2 application because sponsor mistakenly assigned wrong CoS (i.e unrestricted rather than restricted). The sponsor is accepting their mistake and ready to assign me a new CoS . I need to ask few questions

1. Do they(sponsor) have to conduct RLMT again ?
2. Should i clearly mention in my new application that i got refusal and the reason was wrong COS ?
3. Do I have to wait for my appeal time (28 days ) to finish before making a new application ?
4. Any other thing that should be taken into consideration when making new application ?

RLMT is valid for 6 months. If it was done recently, they can use the same.

Yes

No. If you want to go ahead with a new application, you can do it. However, you will need to pay the fees again.

4. Any other thing that should be taken into consideration when making new application ?
Just ensure that the correct CoS is assigned this time round. Also, if you are submitting bank statements as maintenance proof, ensure the letter date is within 30 days from the date of application. Else, get a new statement with the latest date.
