Cahnging Work permit dependant to HSMP

Hi all,

I live and work in the UK on "work permit dependant" visa.
And now I want to change my visa type to HSMP. I filled out assessment form in workpermit.com and gathered 75 points, So I can apply hopefully with high percentage of acceptance.I am working as an engineer in UK right now, and I am 28.

could you please help me with

How long does the HSMP application last? I should immidately change the type of my visa.

Is there any other type of visas, you can suggest me to apply?, I really do not want to be on "work permit dependant visa", you know.

Go to www.workingintheuk.gov.uk and you will have all the information you need regarding the various work visa in UK but I think HSMP is your best bet.

i am in the same situation. i am a wp dependant and now i am going to apply for HSMP.

As a dependant, how long is your visa for.

HSMP visa is for 2 yrs.
