That was fast! Any chance you can let us know of your circumstances? Are you married/unmarried? Married to British/other EU citizen? Is your family member working/studying etc?

Yeah, I was shocked that it did not take that long, perhaps I'm lucky. I have a civil partner for 2 years and he's from France (working in the UK). I just submitted all those basic documentations that they required, nothing more in particular. Maybe because we have been travelling together to so many places, and those stamps in both of our passports could easily prove that we are in a genuine relationship? Just a guess anyway :?

Hope it helps. Good luck guys :) Your RC will be soon be with you.

Im quite new to this forum and i need help guys. My wife is a full time employee as well as she is a full time student in a University. She is the EU citizen and im her Non EU Husband. Can i apply for a EEA2 in employee route or i have to choose the student route. She is a Shift manager at a fast food restaurant and she is in her 3rd year honours Degree.
Guys please advise me what route is safest for me?
By the way we work together.

Best option is the employment route! Student route will require an insurance CSI
GOD BLESS!!!

I am working 40 hours per week and submitted pay slips and a letter from my employer. I provided about 5 pay slips (I get paid weekly). I got a registration certificate (using form EEA1) before my partner applied so I enclosed that too. He also entered the UK on a family permit.

Don't worry too much. Different case workers take different amounts of time. You will get good news soon :)

Hello guys,

I've applied on 15th Oct and was wondering how long it would take to get my passport back once I asked for it. Any idea? :?: :?:

I decided to book a trip on 30th Jan, and as the date approaches I get more and more nervous about losing my tickets so I'm considering to ask for my documents!! I honestly thought that I would have the rc by now!
