:) Usually same day, I got mine minutes apart.
I also got the two emails minutes apart in the morning too. Do you think my wife will get call from gerrys to collect before Christmas. She applied from mirpur?

Best of Luck Faheem,

Inshallah its going to be great news, so from what i can see people who applied up until 15th Sept are getting emails, hopefully 24th September isnt too far. I have also noticed that people have been recieving these email either on Thursday or Friday from UKVI. Anyway please remember the rest of us waiting in your prayers.

Hi there I have another question,
My husband applied for the spouse visa in November 2014 and the thing is, he was living in a rented property
and its been over 3 years for him at that address.
But just last week the owner of the property told
him that he's now selling the place :(
Which means he will have to move..

I'm just worried if this can cause an issue for our
Spouse visa.

Is there anything that we will have to do?

How does one escalate one's visa application?
I see from people's statuses that it says "escalated".
Thanks

If no updates are found when you contact UKVI then they will ask for more details to escalate your application to find out what stage it is at. You can't escalate it yourself.

Hi Pak101,

On https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-outside-uk

You need to send the following in email to escalate and get a sensible response.

1. Type of escalation: No record found or whatever your reason is
2. GWF Reference Number:
3. Passport Number:
4. Name of the applicant:
5. Date of Birth:
6. Country where applying:
7. Location of the VAC:
8. Type of visa:
9. Date of biometrics:
10. Brief reason of your query:

Hi Hope786,

What's the current status of your application??

The landlord has decided to sell, but it will take sometime so your husband must have got another month of so depending on the tenancy agreement conditions signed??

If your husband is within ie a 6 month contract then he doesn't have to move out of the house until the contract finishes and after the landlord has given a 3 month notice period.

Hi, thanks for your help :)

I'm not sure of what the status would be on our application, as we just recently applied.

I don't really know what his tenancy agreement conditions are but I will surely find out.

My husband stays in Multan.

The house has also had a viewing by a family, so not sure what will happen. If the worst comes to the worst then he would have to move and find another place to rent.

Also in the email that we got it stated it can take up to 6 months or more as they aren't meeting there 3 months target due to the backlog, and that it can take longer than 6 months if further checks are needed.

So don't really know, what can be done.

Thanks alil2014,

Is that how it works in Pakistan?
Sorry I don't really know how it works over there.

But can this have an effect on our application if he will have to move?

Just need to make sure the exact amount is deposited into the account as stated on the payslips and then everything should be fine

I would be very grateful if anybody can give me some advice
I work part time and get paid in cash. The salary is low so i don't have to pay tax on it.
I put the whole amount in my bank when I get the salary
I have enough savings to meet the income threshold of £18600
If I provide all the necessary evidence do you think it will be ok if I work part time and the salary is paid in cash?
And my cash savings are from my previous jobs and cash gifts.
Are payslips enough to prove the savings are from my jobs?
Thanks

so does that mean that it has to be deposited the same time you receive the payslip?
