Death certificate issued in India

Hi there,

As a part of providing evidence for my absence from UK, I was away to India for 3 weeks due to the sudden death of my father. I have a got the death certificate with me that was issued in India. The certificate is in telugu and english. Is this valid? should I get it notarised from a solicitor in UK ?

Please advise me

It is fine if it is in English as well.
