Even August and October approvals have stopped at around 70%.
I think either they do the checks on 30% randomly or system high lighted 30% of people for further checks.

You are absolutely right. October applications are currently at around 74% approved too (Oct thread). They seem to take 25-30% of applications to 'further checks'. Sucks to be in this 30%...

Here is my timeline for registration of two children born in the UK - following permanent residency of EU citizen.

Current nationality: Romanian
Language criteria: N/A
Method of application: NCS
Council name if NCS used: Swindon
Date of application: 10/09/2014
Payment method: Credit Card
Date of receipt by UKBA: 11/09/14
Date of acknowledgment: 20/09/14
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 16/09/14
Date approval received: 16/12/2014 - for one child; 17/12/2014 for the other one.
Certificate dated 5/12, letter dated 8/12.

Received in a white A4 envelope, sent First Class.

It is good to see few more approvals from September applications, been waiting for more than 3 months and still nothing hope to get mine before new year.

As arkhsud said we maybe are on the naughty list as i browsed the other thread one of them apply on december 2 and recieved the approval on the 24 december and dated 18th..so they can make a decission on 2 weeks and 2 days? Seriously? the fastest i have seen..while here we are on a more than 3 months journey..only god knows where are thouse application now.

You are right i saw that too, i even saw an applicant who recieved the aproval after 2 years, hard to believe.

quick question...guys...since I ave not received approval to my application for the september batch. I am in the brink of requesting for my travel documents including BRP card and related document. I read somewhere that they keep the BRP card once they issue approval...I may have misunderstood the statement though.

Any guidance on this will be appreciated as I need to request for my other passport to apply for visa for official trips ASAP.

They shouldn't keep your BRP.
You should be ok to request your documents. Sometimes that forces them to look at your application again and you may even receive your approval along with your documents.

Looks like we have had a very quite christmas...and i am afraid that it might remain this way for another month atleast....i.e., until feb I am expecting nothing from them....as predicted earlier..

Hi, I am new to this forum and have been going through the posts for few days. I applied for naturalisation on the 9th of September at hillingdon council and got acknowledgement in a weeks time. But I am still waiting for my naturalisation. I called up ukba this morning but the lady who picked up the phone said I need to wait till march as only after 6 months they will be able to check the progress! It is unfortunate that our applications are getting delayed. In my case the application was pretty straight fwd but the only thing that is lingering in my mind is that I did fill my pcn ( penalty charge notification) numbers and details as I had couple of traffic violations (very minor like bus lane entry etc) which the lady at NCS service insisted that I need to fill in ..probably because of that they wanted to do additional chicks I am not sure..thought it I will just join the forum as it now concerns me as all my fairness who applied same time and even after me got their approvals already now. Happy for them but just don't know the fate of my application. Thanks for creating this thread it has been very useful one!

I applied for naturalization on the 10/09/14 and still waiting. I called the HO on 15/12/14 and they said I should call back at the end of March 2015.
