Tier 2 General Queries - Please Help

Hi Guys,

There are lot of IT Professional from India, who are interested in Tier 2 General Visa, So I am asking below questions on behalf of them

First main question:

1) Does IT Jobs comes under shortage, Like .Net
2) Does 2 Years experience is okay, Any restrictions on min experience

Job Search:
I have asked them search on Job serve, Job site etc...
Question: Are we getting any companies from above search who are willing to sponsor the candidates

IELTS - Is it needed, And whats the min band
Maintenance fund - Is there any min funds needed, And for how many months.
List of documents need to be submitted
Which application form they need to fill in, UKBA site.

I understand the above are basics, But hope it helps to the starters.

I do see a lot of .Net based jobs but not as much as Java based jobs now-a-days

2) Does 2 Years experience is okay, Any restrictions on min experience

I think the experience does not matter if the employer here is ready to offer you the position with appropriate salary

Sponsoring candidates is a big task now-a-days for establishments since UKBA gives "tokens" for employers to bring 10-20 (large establishments) and once they have used the quota they can not spoonsor anymore and they have to apply to increase quota (not sure about that)

If you can get a letter from your educational institution that degree was taught in english I think it will be sufficient.

Maintenance fund - Is there any min funds needed, And for how many months.

bank statements showing you’ve had at least £945 in savings continuously over the last 90 days, or your sponsor’s certification that they can support and accommodate you for the first month you’re employed

List of documents need to be submitted

Which application form they need to fill in, UKBA site.

Also make sure the company which is offering you the job is a valid one by contacting UKBA or any of your friends before you proceed further to avoid getting fraudesters.
