Hi,

I got ILR on 11//04/14 and I want to know how early I can post my application for Naturalisation ?

From 11/04/14 to 11/04/15 is absolutely 1 year. Can I post my application 28 days beore completion of 1 year which is on 11/03/15 ?


At the time of making AN application. Do I have to return my ILR Biometrics permit as well ?

If you choose to use Nationality Checking Service then council officer will send application on your behalf, they will also copy and attest your documents and will hand back originals to you, for a small fee. On pages 17 and 18 of Form AN are the list of the required documents are listed, please read that.

NCS is optional but I used it myself and my personal experience was extremely pleasant. Good luck.

I will apply for Naturalisation via NCS. I am asking this because I may have to travel to Pakistan during my Naturalisation application in process. By law am I allow to this , what problem by legally you see which I may come across in Uk while my naturalisation application in process and I am abroad for leisure purpose ?
