Thanks for the reply. As it is not business related, I worry, if there is no employer letter, will this be refused?John wrote:"See parents" is the totally logical information to supply.

Thanks Argusargus7 wrote:If you see forum threads on absences people have submitted self signed letters when absences are less than 180 days in 5 years .
UKVI is least bothered about minor absences, what they are really interested in is:
* Evidences of tax paid in perm/self employment since last LTR application
* Absences to meet ILR continuous residency
* Genuine Earnings Test
* Points scored in current application
* Dependent eligibility
* Cohabitation
* KoLL
Hope this helps.
Its simple ,
e.g if earnings is 45K required and tax paid is 8K, They want to see the same as per HMRC records on P60/ Employment history
They have access to PNC and other govt information systems

I will be applying as Tier 1 General and no dependents
I have the last 12 payslips and bank statements with required earnings
Do I still need evidence of Tax paid over the last 5 years?
and what is Genuine Earnings test - assuming that is for Self employment?
