Successfully Got ILR on 07-01-215

Post by params0073 » Fri Jan 09, 2015 2:54 pm

Hi All,
Thanks to this forum got my ILR approved on 07 Jan 2015 and received BRP today(09 Jan 2015). Special thanks to Amber :D .
The process was quite normal so won’t waste any time writing it. Let me know if you want to ask something which is troubling you for your application.

Thanks
Param

I have a employer but there are plenty of successful cases for self-employed as well(same day PEO).

Congrats on your ILR.

Can I ask which PEO centre? Also did you submit the letter from your employers for the dates out of country? Just yourself or with dependants?

Thanks,
-Senthil

Hi Param,

I am planning to apply for my ILR on 1 or 2nd week of April 2015. Now I am trying to book a PEO appointment. In the UKBA site I am entering the details as below

Which application form are you using to make your application - SET (O)

Which category of leave are you applying for? Tier 1 General

Please let me know the information I am providing is correct or not..

Last few days I am trying to book an appointment but no luck every time is shows that no slot available

Please let me know is there any other way to book an appointment.

Thanks!
Samy

The earliest you can book an appointment is 42 days in advance. This is the reason why no slots are showing as available.

If you want to book for 2nd week in April, you will need to wait until late February or early March for appointments to show up.

Just to add,I had some (15-16) unpaid leave but caseworker never asked a question about it.So I think as long as your leaves (paid and unpaid) are less then 180 days you are fine.

Firstly congratulation on your successfully application.

I have one question that is troubling me. Certainly hope you and other fellow esteem members can help.

"180 days absent from UK per year as I understand from the requirement and not 180 days absent in total of 5 years."

Am I right to say as long as you don't take more than 180 days outside of UK per year for the duration of 5 years you are fine?

Thank you and sorry to hijack the conversation.
