I have a query:
I had applied for naturalisation for my wife and I at the same time (on 23/12/2014). However only I received an email confirmation. No email was sent to my wife. There is no mention of 2 applicants in the email.

Do they send one email for both applications since it was applied together?

I got my citizenship invitation letter today, it came over 10 days after the approval (the approval came on the 30th). They advised me to call the Council myself and book the ceremony. I think it's different for everyone. I called and they only just received my paperwork today, so it took the HO over 2 weeks to send them the paperwork.

I think give it a few more days, it does take time. I'm sure it'll come soon!

Thanks for information, Just want to clarify some query would appreciate if you could help so first thing is you Received the Approval Letter and than citizenship invitation letter. Do we have to call NCS to fixed the ceremony date is after you received Approval Letter or Citizenship Invitation Letter ?

My approval letter came back together with my submitted paperwork, in the same special delivery envelope I supplied. It said: "I am pleased to say the application has been successful and you will shortly received a letter inviting you to attend a citizenship ceremony. Please note this is not an invitation to a ceremony. You should not contact your Local Authority until you have received your invitation"

So 10 days later I received the invitation. It advised me to call my local authority (provided number) to arrange my ceremony.
