Hi Guys,

I recently got my indefinite leave under the 10 years long residency. I am about applying for the british citizen through registration
(form MN1) for my two children who were both born in UK ( 3years and 1 Years). THEY DON'T HAVE NIGERIA PASSPORT.
Please I will like to know if they will required getting Nigeria passport to submit for their British citizen registration as proof of identity OR JUST SUBMIT ONLY THEIR UK BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

I don't want to waste my £669 application fee to UKBA .PLS ADVICE ME ON THE CORRECT DOCUMENTS TO SUBMIT.

Thanks you

Dear Members,

I have posted my Son MN1 form to Home Office through NCS and Fees got debited on 21-Nov-2014 and Still waiting for any confirmation or approval. No news from them and I can see in this forum that people who applied after I made application recieved approval letters.

I am not sure if there is any issue. Can you guide how to contact/whom to contact with any contact numbers please.

Many Thanks,
sagiloyal

Application itself can take some time. If you haven't even received an acknowledgement, contact HO.

Unfortunately, the reference number the NCS representative gave me a wrong tracking number that it doesn't work while trying on the royal mail website which is really disappointing...Has anyone else had similar exp?
I am now down to checking my bank account to find out if the fee is debited

Just ignore that whatever is written in the acknowledgement letter that is a standard text. I have noticed they are processing the applications in two weeks, in most of the cases people received their approval withing 10 days after receiving acknowledgement letter. You should expect to get your approval any day of this week.

Thanks
