Tier-2 (general)restricted COS

Hii,
Can anyone pls advice me for the issue I have come up with.
My employer applied restricted COS last month for me since I
am in tier-4(student dependant).when he Applied he ticked the
Box for shortage occupation list and gave the full job description
Soc:2127 (production and process eng)
Job -Manufacturing engineer. salary rate over £30k.
Later we got the mail from home office to my employer to must provide the following information:
1)full job description and experience
2)workers current immigration status
3)copy of contract employment
4)full copies of all advertising undertaking to reqruit.

I am confused with this mail.Why they need all these details and particularly expecting RLMT though my job is in shortage occupation list.
Your advice would be very much helpful!! Thanks in advance.

UKVI probably asked for further information because from what your sponsor submitted it might not have been clear if the job was a shortage occupation. Note that under SOC code 2127 ONLY the following jobs are shortage occupations:

 chemical engineer
 manufacturing engineer (process planning) in the aerospace industry
 technical services representative in the decommissioning and waste areas of the nuclear industry

If it turns out that the job is not one of the above your employer will have to do a RLMT

My job (manufacturing engineer)is in shortage occupation list
soc code-2127.We applied for restricted COS and got restricted for some reason mentioned above in my previous post.
I want to know some following details:
I)If they have rejected my Res COS ,
we would still have the previous single COS to apply again?
I)Can we re apply for restricted cos?
II)If we re-apply ,do we have to mention the reason for previous rejection?
Please guide me with your valuable advice.Thanksss

you'll have to wait until UKVI assesses the additional information requested and which the company hopefully sent to them

7th of january was our deadline to send all the proof of RLMT(even though my job is on shortage occupation list as mentioned above my initial post),job description and all .My employer viewed their requirement email only yesterday.so it would have been rejected now.Thats why i want to be clear with all the following questions to apply further for restricted COS.pls answer..
