Travel plans after Applying Citizenship

Post by theprideofpak » Sun Jan 18, 2015 2:56 pm

I've booked holidays the next day of my appointment with the NCS. I'll be coming back after 5 weeks. Would there be a problem in doing so? How long do we usually have to book the ceremony if in case I received the approval letter before I come back. BTW I'll be giving the correspondence address of my neighbour, he'll let me know with the updates.
Thank you for your answers...

You should be fine.
You need to book ceremony within 3 weeks of approval and attend in 90 days.

You book the ceremony over the phone from wherever you are at that moment.
I am sometimes wrong.

While booking an appointment with NCS, I was asked if I am planning to travel in next 5 days after appointment. I suggest you check with NCS team of your area on this.
