FLR query - due to HSMP changes in early 08'

hi guys..

I am applying for my initial HSMP in the first week of Nov.
However i plan to send my passport in March for stamping which is after 4 and half months..because currently i am on work permit and my 3 yrs for work permit only completes in end of march.So i thought i might as well have 3 yrs of work permit plus 2 yrs of HSMP for settlement. But i am a bit worried as HSMP rules are going to be changed in 1st Qtr . I need to know..will my FLR criteria be effected by these changes.
