Is it possible to work as a contractor after getting Tier 1E

Hi,
I am currently in Tier 4 student visa and I am planning to apply for Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa. Is it possible to work as a contractor in IT sector after got this visa? or should I eligible only to run my own business? Please guide me properly anyone.

First , very few companies will entertain u as u got this entrepreneur visa.
2) it will be difficult during extension to show investment

As per my information which I gained reading HO guidelines, You can not work as a contractor.

"No employment other than working for the business(es) the applicant has established, joined or taken over. Working for such business(es) does not include any work the applicant does pursuant to (in line with) a contract of service or apprenticeship with another business whether express or implied, oral or written."
