process from Mn1 to passport and indian visa

hi All.
we were granted ILR yesterday -
thanks to all the people who have helped immensely


I am applying for MN1 for British born child and we are on ILR.
Childs dependant tier 1 visa expires on feb 6th 2015..
A) - what happens if his naturalisation is rejected for any reason or delayed !
B)- If I have to take him to india in any urgent situation !
can I take him while the certificate comes on his Indian passport .
(obviously it wont come in the next two weeks.)
and If i do take him to India and apply for his British passport from India.
where and when do i have to surrender his Indian passport ?

Also whats the complete process and time taken to get the biritsh passport with indian visa
any time estimates would be really helpful.

1. If child is born in UK then he is entitled to register as British citizen. Include all the documents required and application won't be refused. Use NCS.
2. If you take the child back home and his/her visa expires, child will not be allowed to travel using Citizenship Certificate as that is not a travel document. You'll either need to apply for passport from India which I heard takes forever or apply COE and then bring the child back to UK and apply British passport from here.

I guess then an ILR for him on Set (m) is more logicall.
also I can apply for ILR on letters i have got from home office or do i need to wait for the BRP

I would wait for BRP as it shouldn't take long to arrive.
