Hi Madanan,
Congratulations on your successful application.
I have a query regarding tenacy. I have been staying in the same flat since april 2010 and my wife joined me in June 2012. It is rented privately so does not have any lease agreement. But my landlord is ready to provide a letter stating our stay with the rent we are paying. Will that be sufficient as a part of the co-habitation proof or should be including a short term lease agreement as well ?

Thanks in advance

Hello phoenix3123,

You just need a letter from your landlord or your property agent who can confirm that you and your wife are living in that 2 or 3 room property since 2012 or 2010 and you are paying £XXX.

Also if you do not have that letter so its fine, You can submit other documents.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.

Congrats on your ILR. Just trying to see whether you applied only for yourself & wife? Since you mentioned baby birth certificate is she born in UK and planning to apply direct citizenship?

Thanks,
-Senthil
