Switching from tier 4 to tier 2, little issues..need advice

Post by mahdilou » Thu Jan 22, 2015 6:45 pm

Hi all,

I need some clarifications about my case which a little bit complicated.
I am currently on tier 4 visa which is due to expire at the end of january, after many months of job search i managed to find an employer who is willing to sponsor me and this employer has already a sponsorship license, the problem is last time I contacted them they told me that they are still on the process of getting a COS for me and i also was told that they will make the postal visa application for me once they get a COS.

Whats really stressing me is that my visa is expiring at the end of the month and i dont know what to do next as every time i ask my new employer, they say that they are waiting for the cos!!!

any advice please

Many thanks
Mahdi

Normally it takes under 2 weeks to get an increase in a sponsor's unrestricted CoS allocation. If there is a delay ask them to call the UKVI employer helpline 0300 123 4699 and ask for urgent treatment (because of your situation).

Once the CoS is assigned you have to make the visa application, not the company

Thank you manci for the answer. I'll try to talk to my employer about that
