Multiple Tier 2 Visa

Post by rahuul » Wed Jan 21, 2015 11:31 pm

Hi

I am on Tier 2 General visa since March 2010. Please help me with following questions.

First Tier 2 Stamped on 1st March 2010
Tier 2 changed with new employer on August 2011
Tier 2 changed with new employer on November 2013 valid till Feb 2017

Dependent Visa (Tier 2) stamped on March 2012
Entered UK in June 2012

What would be documents I should provide.
What application form should my wife apply for ILR ?

Many Thanks in advance.

What would be documents I should provide.
Passports (2),
BRP card(2),
Photots(2+2),
completed Set-O form (one form for both you and your partner),
Employer-letter confirming SOC code-salary-date of start of employment - still needed for job etc, (current employer)
employer letter for business absences+any paid anual leaves during 5 years stay(current and previous employers)
Last month payslip,
last month bank statement,
Cohabitation documents for your dependent covering last two years.

If you have P60's provide them as well (not must).

What application form should my wife apply for ILR ?
Set-O form (one form for both you and your partner)

I mean, only one SET O form to be submitted.
Sorry if that was confusing from the previous message.
Basically, you (main applicant) fille-up the form and include your dependent details in the same form in the "Dependent" section.

Thanks a lot!

Is the leave of absence letter compulsory from employers ? What if i have just gone for annual leaves or short trips out of UK ? Can i just mention it on the application ?

Thanks again in advance.

I think so. Because it was specifically mentioned in SET-O guidance that employer needs to confirm any absences from UK including paid annual leaves. The employer can just say, you were absent from office on those days, and those leaves were authorised paid absences (need not have to confirm where u went on those days).
I am not sure whether a letter from you would be good enough for those leaves (although i remember some members did mentioned it here that they provided a covering letter when they could not obtain a employer letter).
However, i would recommend, not to take any chances and get a letter from employer, if that is possible.
