Hi stefjm

If you do the maths;

ILR(through domestic immigration system)=PR( under EEA Regulations.

There is no expiry date on PR but merely "Renewal Date".You could apply for citizenship though when eligible.
Only thing you would need to do is renew PR after 10 years.
PR and ILR only become invalid when staying out of the u.k. For more than 2 years.

Have a read regarding renewal under the following link.

Guys,
I am glad to say that i have received my PR last wednesday.

Here is my time line:
I submitted my first application in july 2014 and it was refused in september on the ground that i submitted insufficient self employment documents during the time my ex EEA spouse was self employed. My ex spouse had a mix of employment and self employment in her exercise of treaty rights.
Then i made a fresh/second application on the 10th of october,2014 and put in additional documents for the period she was self employed like SA 302, business cards ,fliers and invoices plus employment papers

Hi Guys,
Finally able to register for an account. Was banned through gmail and yahoo and was only allowed to register after setting up a bt email account. Have submitted eea4 on 19/11/14. Money was taken 2 days later. COA arrived 10/12/14. Still waiting.... Thanks to all for posting timelines as it makes the wait a little more bearable. Looks like the average decision time is up to 3 months from about 2,5 months middle last year!
Good Luck Everyone!

Hey Sabby_00,

Thanks for replying back.... I applied in the second week of September... Received the COA with right to work after 2 weeks of applying (don't remember the exact date)... It's been more than 4 months now and still waiting.... It's really frustrating.. I understand they have 6 months to process these applications... Please keep us posted on your application... I'll do the same...

Thanks :-)

Are you saying someone with EEA PR Or RC can go through the EU PAssport holders queue??????

Sure of this claim??

Passport shouldn't be stamped , Eventhougg it doesn't really cause any issues. The staff clearly doesn't know the stamp wasn't required.

EEA3 and EEA4 application sent 13/11/14
CAO issued on 04/12/14.
PR still waiting.
It would be good to know whether anybody who has sent the application from October onward has received PR.

Hello Guys,

I have applied for my PR last year June 2014, got it issued last year after 67 days waiting on 5/sept 2014. One month after waiting I requested for my passport for travel, and my PR was issued on A4 Paper. My passport now expired got it renewed. And I was granted on a ground of ex partner of an EEA national excersing treaty right by employment, while I was studying full time during my application. Wondering if I can have my PR on my new passport rather on the A4 paper, instructions say you have to reapply. Is it ok for me to reapply now just a bit worried as I have just finished study last sept, I only work one month after my study since sept 2014, and now on Jobseekers hunting for Job

Can anyone advise if I can reapply and if there won't be any issue to my PR restamp on my passport . I will be looking forward to your advise guys, thanks

Thank you!

As far as I know in order to get you stamp moved to your passport you'll need to make a fresh appllication.
My RoR was issued on A4 paper, as like you I requested my passport back, I needed to fly to the US.

When I contacted HO then I was told that I would need to make new application, but I didn't bother.

Sometimes it's quite handy to have it on A4 paper to be honest, at least for me.

May I ask you some question about EEA4 application as I'm planning to send it next month?

Artur,

I preferred the stamp in my passport to be honest as the A4 doesn't have a long term. Imagine having the A4 for 10 years, can lost when apply for visa at other embassy or even damage

Sure you can ask questions . I'm happy to help

Hi, NEED A HELP PLEASE

I am living with my EEA spouse since we got married in Sep 2012, We applied for EEA1 and EEA2 but were refused due to employment and we appealed against decision but appeal was dismissed in August 2013.My EEA spouse got appointment at HO PEO Croydon for EEA1 and she got on same day and after 3 months i received my EEA residence card.

MY Question is this.

When I can apply for EEA4 PR? from the date which i received EEA residence card or from the date of marriage?

what does the EU law says about 5 years ?

Many thanks
Cheers!!!!
