Hi,
What happens if you obtain a (French) Schengen, and then due to matters beyond your control (like weather), the weekend trip gets cancelled. If you then fly to a different Schengen entry point (e.g. Netherlands) a week later, will they give you drama if you haven't been to France as first point of entry? Will this have an impact on future Schengen applications?
As a point of interest, am married to an EEA national, but want to play it safe for future travels with him, as I have had difficulty with almost being denied boarding due to staff not being aware of the Directive. Will having a Schengen that hasn't been used in country of issue have an effect on travelling with him, as a non EU spouse travelling with EEA national.
Any help will be appreciated.
