Even though he closed his account, the bank might be willing to produce duplicate statements. There would be a charge, of course.

DEVILS ADVOCATE! If his account was closed the last 3 months, then there aren't any duplicated statements to produce.

Ah! True. I had misunderstood it to mean that he/she had simply thrown statements away. Of course, if there was no bank account there won't be any statements.

No knuckle head, he should produce what statements he has whether the applicant or sponsor and explain the situation. Read the guidance for exceptional circumstances.

You don't know that the person who posted found your response funny.

NO but that is irrelevant,
humour is a matter perspective.

SYH,

this place has been designated to help people who are desperate to find answers.

by no means i found it amusing or humorous.

thanks Victoria for your support.

beside I'm pretty sure that there are rules designed to moderate any forums.

which clearly states that no foul language or humour is accepted.

I'm not sure weather we do have over here at work permit forums or not.

overall i don't have no complains. but we all have to act in a professional way with courtesy

best regards

dagame

Hey dagame, tough luck to you if you have such a poor sense of humour.

Dagame, the only thing that I can suggest is for your friend to supply the bank statements that he has and to include a covering note explaining the situation as clearly as possible. Does that seem feasible?

But someone with a better idea of whether that would be acceptable might be along soon...

Hi Christophe,

he has been able to arrange one and a half month statement covering september 2 weeks and october 3 weeks, which he will be able to get it as he opened a new account .

plus he also has a sponsorship letter from His Uncle who is a cardiac Consultant and his 6 months statement.

plus an offer letter from a Consultancy company.

so is that enough to able to successfully get the IGS.

please advice.

I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to that one. As I say, though, if he does apply he ought to make sure that the reason for the lack of statements is clear - by attaching a separate sheet of paper if necessary.

And submit the closed bank account statements with an explanation and that will have to do.
