Anyone dual Brit/Irish from NI successful in EEA RC via SS

Hi

Was hoping anyone in my shoes has been successfull recently?
With eea RC via Surinder Singh
I'm from N.ireland my hubby is from Australia and we lived in Uk before moving to Dublin for 4 years,we had our 1st son there,we are back in UK living in N.Ireland and had 2nd son here,got COA in middle of Nov 2014 so just waiting now.

I know there is a lot of issues with dual British/irish from NI
But recently our friends who are same as us,wife from NI and Dual Brit/irish and hubby Kiwi..they had been living in Oz and came to live here,they applied on her Irish passport and he got his RC no prob!

So yea if anyone In same position id love to hear from you!
