Dear Team,

could you please help on this

Am T2ICT and my wife is PBS dependent visa since 2010 nov
my wife plan to try for a sponsor who can offer t2General visa.
my wife did Bachelor of arts from a university in India in English language 2009s
when she try in T2Calculator for her eligibility, it says 0 points for the Degree certificate
doest it mean the degree is not recognized by UK BA?i gues NARIC should recognize?
T2 visa is not eligible for her unti she write IELTS test and secure a score?
why BA is not eligible though it is in English medium?

Hi, her qualification must be equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree in order to be eligible for a T2G visa. The exceptions and other details are in this link https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/knowledge-of-english

I think T2 dependent visa is still ideal as she can switch jobs easily if needed and there are not too many restrictions

you can do one thing , try to get letter from UK Naric regarding that your degree is taught in english and it is equivalent to bachelor degree for Uk degree.UK Naric will give you letter from 10-15 working days after submitting all documents from your side to UK Naric.

First you get letter from your university which mentioned on university letter that your degree is taught in english

After receive letter from UK Naric, You can apply for Tier-2 General without any problem for english language points
