my mrs is a polish national and i am a pakistani and i holds a eea2 residence card. We have a baby girl yesterday born in manchester and i don't know either we can apply for a British passport for her or we have to stick to a polish passport For my daughter. my mrs She has been living here in uk for past 12 years and been working but i only been here for 5 years. I don't think these things related to this matter but i jus mentioned it anyway.

Hi there,

I've found this forum really useful and I thought I would post my EEA2 timeline here.

Application sent: 20/10/2014
HO received: 22/10/2014
CoA received with right to work: 04/11/2014
RC received: 23/01/2015

We are an unmarried couple and I entered the UK with a family permit.

Good luck to all who are waiting!

Hi,

I am worried because I applied for the EEA2 (married partner):

Application sent on 09/01
Received from HO on 12/01
Confirmation received by E-mail 13/01
Letter of confirmation received on 20/01

NO COA for the moment
No money withdrawn from my account.

Is there somebody in the same case?

Also i started a new job my EEA1 expired yesterday can I still work????

Hiya.

SURINDER SINGH CASE:
Application sent: October 20, 2014
Acknowledgement letter received: October 23, 2014
COA received (with right to work): November 11, 2014
RC received: January 26, 2015

Filipina (Was living in Cyprus since I was 5) married to British Citizen (Was living in Cyprus too) for 1 year, arrived in England June 26, 2014 with EEA Family permit, both of us got full time jobs 1 week after we arrived, sorted out bank accounts, NI number, NHS papers, driving license, then applied for RC without submitting all the evidences of husband's exercising treaty rights in EU country (Cyprus) as we already submitted all the documments when we applied EEA Family permit. No interview and house visit at all.

Documents I submitted:
- Our passports
- Marriage certificate
- Evidences of living together (bank statements, bills, NIN letter, etc)

And that's it I think. It took 3 months and we are really happy.
Goodluck to everyone xxx

Hi all

I've applied for an EEA2 as an unmarried partner. Below is my timeline to date:

- Application received - 14/11/14
- COA dated - 1/12/14 (had to request another letter as the first one got lost in the mail apparently)
- Email confirming receipt of application - 2/12/14

No further updates since then. Hoping to receive it February - March 2015 since people have been receiving their October 2014 applications back in January 2015.

Nearly 7 months gone and no result so far. (EEA2 married partner)
Wrote letters to liverpoor office but nothing received from them.
Sent email today and asked for the reason of delay.
Received reply:
Your application remains under consideration. We will contact you when the application is finalized. I am aware of the processing timescales. I am unable to conclude your application due to ongoing inquiries. I am satisfied that the delay is fully justified.
I replied:
Thank you for your email. According to the EEA law, your office is bound to take decision of my case within 6 months of the receipt of application. I understand that there is an ongoing inquiries but there was enough time for your office to inquire anything since I applied 7 months ago. But unfortunately you did not mention the reason of the delay.

Did your office ever realized that I have 2 daughters and parents awaiting desperately to meet me? How difficult is to explain my visa issue to my small daughters? My wife is also worried about my visa. She feels depressed due to the lengthy visa process. I am unable to get a job because employers are reluctant to offer me a job in the present circumstances.

Your 'so called' enquiries on my case are not only damaging my personal life but also not according to the rules and regulations of EEA family migration act.
I would like to know what exactly is happening on my case.

UKBA replied:
Thank you for reminding me of the requirements of the EEA regulations. I am familiar with these.
I have advised that enquiries are continuing. I am not prepared to elaborate further than that.
If you are not content with the handling of your case it is for you to decide what action you wish to take.
I am satisfied that the delay on your case is justified, and that until enquiries are completed I am not in a position to make a decision on your case

I don't know what to say after this reply. They have no heart and feelings for us. What do you advise guys?
