Total Tier 2 Cost

Hi All,

Its great to be a part of this forum.

I had a question regarding the total cost of Tier 2 which the employer pays during sponsorship.
I am aware that the visa processing cost is about £400-500. But is there any other cost involved?

Some of my friends were saying that the employer has to pay a huge sum of money, probably thousands, just to employ one foreign national. Is that true?

I do not think it is thousands... It is probably just a Fee of £600 to £800 for getting the Sponsors Licence.

Getting the Sponsor licence does not cost more than £500-550. On top of this, the employer needs to pay ~£150 for each employee to assign a CoS (some country citizens are exempt from this fee).
