MN1 REG FORM HELP REQUIRED

Hi Members,
I am filling out the MN1 application for my 3 yer old who is born in the UK under section 1(3).
Do i have to fill section 3 of the application which is regarding the PARENTS RESIDENCE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
OR BRITISH OVERSEAS TERRITORIES, WHERE APPLICABLE.

The MN1 guide tells you on page 24:

SECTION 3: PARENTS’ RESIDENCE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR THE BRITISH
OVERSEAS TERRITORIES, WHERE APPLICABLE.

If the application is in respect of a child born abroad to parents who are British citizens
by descent under section 3 (2) or 3 (5) you should complete this section. Otherwise go
straight to Section 4: Good Character

So if you are British by descent under section 3(2) or 3(5) then fill it in, otherwise leave blank. I wasn't British when I filled it for my daughter and I left it blank, she was granted Citizenship.
