@brightlove,

Please clarify ... did you apply ILR on 10 years long residence or as private life in UK?????

Brightlove wrote:My application was under the 19 - 22.5 private life tier and I'm seeing here that people are under different tiers so will that affect how long the process takes?
Here is my timeline:

Application sent: 27/08/2014
Acknowledgement received: 15/09/2014
Biometric letter received: 29/09/2014 Date 26/09/2014
Biometric recorded: 3/10/2014
Approval date: Not yet received
Docs received: Not yet received

And can one give me the HO Number please ?

Brother

Don't apply flr 0 but apply flr fp private life

If you apply flr 0 they will invalid ur application

Apply flr fp private life claiming you have private life in UK

Then just vary it.

I am looking to get some information about FLRO, I entered in UK on 10th Sep 2005 on a student visa and since than I am studying as a student and working part time, My visa is expiring on 28th March 2015. In order to get ILR i need to live 10 years in UK and my 10 years time will be by 14th Aug 2015.

So basically i need at lest 5 months more visa in order to be eligible for 10 year rule ILR. and i can spend 5 months more time in uk by applying FLRo application, it will buy me some time and make me eligible for 10 year rule.

So i need your help to apply for FLRO and get me 5 months more visa or time till 14 Aug 2015
at the moment i am on student visa studying MBA which finishes in March 2015.
Is there anyone or lawyer (East London) who can get me 5 months more visa or time till aug 2015 ?

as far as i know there is law coming that student can not switch to any visa from UK . they have to go back and apply again.
if the law comes in april then i m not sure it will effect to your ILR application as well. i suggest not to apply as a student if the above law is coming in april.
Hi mate I don't think home office impose this rule I red some news from daily mail they going to scrap that plan so I am sure this rule not going to come in near future it's better option for you to make FLR(o) it's Normaly take 4-5 month time for processing but make sure if you don't have valid leave to remain you can't apply before 28 days you need to cross the 10 years then you can varry your application to SET(LR).wait for senior members advise as well .
Thanks for your advice, really appreciated... is there any lawyer in london or anyone you would recommend to apply FLRO for me ?[/quote]

Hi,
I am writing here in regard to few queries about my application for ILR. Here is a bit of my background.

OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR ILR:
By 08-Sept 2015, this year, I will be completing my 10 years legal stay in UK, So I can apply for ILR during Aug-2015 by this route.

Other Information: I sponsored my wife's spouse Dependent visa under my current Visa (Tier 1-General) during April 2014, last year and she is here in UK since May-2014 and we had a baby in Sep-2014 in London (and registered with council). So her spouse dependent visa (under my Tier 1 General visa) will be expiring on same date as my current visa (Tier 1-General), and that is on 25-Jan-2016.

Queries:
-If I go for ILR under 10 years route then I will be posting my application during middle Aug-2015 this year and if it takes longer time to get my documents back before my wife's spouse visa expires (on 25-Jan-2016), then how can I submit her visa application for extension during Jan 2016?
-Or can I apply for my wife visa/extension as well during Aug 2015 when I submit my 10 year route to ILR, If yes what category/form she will be and will she need Life i UK Test or English language B1 or NOT?
-Do I need to have English Language Test for my ILR application (as I have got MSc degree from Queen Mary, University of London in 2009).
-Is there any indication of this 10 year route option to be closed in upcoming this year (just asking because new govt brings new immigration policies)

Apologies for such long essay. I would be really grateful to you if you please address these queries. Many Thanks!

Ali

Hello board,
One of my friend recently got ILR based on long residence and when he was on night duty the UKBA officers raided the property in search of EU national & non-EU national couple who about to marry. But in same big house they captured two illegal immigrants too as the whole house is sharing. UKBA officers cut the luggage of my friend too who has ILR and in his absence checked all of his documents too and messed up the whole of his items. When my friend came back from night work then he amazed and don't know what should he do?? His all papers and documents are scattered and messed but nothing has been taken. Now kindly tell me that what should he do because on warrant letter its only written the name of those two illegals immigrants in the column of items/materials seized. So guys what should my friend do and does he in danger too??

For the benefit of people here is list of documents that I had got from my solicitor when i applied for ilr via 10 years long residence route 18 months back. There is no need for too many documents but it is always in positive light to provide minimum plus extra.

A) All P60s
B) Employer letter confirming employment with dates and designation
C) Photographs
D) Last 3 months original payslips (not older than last 1 month)
E) Last 3 months Original Bank statements (not older than last 1 month)
F) All passports and Biometric residence permits
G) Home office letters (if you have any)
H) Life in the UK test
I) Any voluntary work certificate
J) Marriage certificate
K) details of absences from UK
L) Last five years of address

In theory only C,F and H are required but all other documents are just for supporting your case. Beside if you have any land registry certificate or mortgage statement add them too. Better to overdo than being sorry.

Good luck guys..
