Husband changed his job during EEA2 application

Post by Kate1986 » Sat Feb 07, 2015 2:57 pm

Hello,
I am a non EU citizen and my husband is a French citizen working in the UK.
We have applied for a EEA2 a couple of months ago but in the meantime my husband has changed his workplace.
However, at no point was he unemployed.
I am worried that if the HO contacts his previous employer this might delay or jeopardise the application.
Should I somehow update the HO of the new workplace even though we do not have any payslips from this place yet? If so, how should we do it? Or will updating the HO simply delay the process? There is no contact telephone or email for the HO to answer such queries therefor I would really appreciate any help.

Thank you,

Kate

You should write to them(post) and send it recorded, use the references you would have received when you got the coa and letter confirming your application, you should do it as soon as possible incase they contact the old employer

Thank you very much for the reply!
Is there a form I should fill-in or simply a letter with the details of the new employer?

Just a letter will be fine, make sure you use the reference that is on the letter so they can match up the details

Thank you again! I will do so ASAP. Just one last thing.. what address should I send this to? The one I sent the original application to? the one I received my letter from? I have three different addresses and not sure which one should I use..
Thank you again for all the help!
