Absences from the UK list query

Post by holaiker » Tue Feb 10, 2015 11:53 am

Hi all:

I have just booked an appointment for premium services @ Croydon next month and am now putting together all the documents.

I am on Tier-1 G and have been working in the same company for more than 5 years.

My absences details:

year-1: 36 days

year-2: 60 days

year-3: 64 days

year-4: 141 days

year-5: 24 days

The 4th year is a bit awkward as I went on a training programme organised by company so I was away for 110 days for this programme. Our company has issued letter to confirm that it is business trip. Will it affect my application ?

Many thanks.

Absences should be less than 180 days per 12 month cycle.

So it should be fine ???? my absences do not exceed 180 days in any single year.

Yes, you should be ok and with the letter from your employer, it should not be a problem.

Hi, I am on Tier 1 general visa and my 5 year ilr is due soon.
I went to my home country for 10 days to attend my mother’s funeral :( . Now 7 days out of these 10 days were unpaid. Is there any problem with unpaid holidays? My employer was aware about it and I can also get letter from my employer explaining these days off.

I have also got my mother’s death certificate (original).

Now question is, can these 7 unpaid holidays can cause any problem or am I OK with this?

Any suggestions please…. Any one

Thank you
