ILR Query (WP + HSMP)

Hi,

Background: I came to UK on a WP in Jan. 2003 and since than have been working with the same company. In Sept. 2006, I switched to HSMP. In Jan. 2008, I would complete 5 years stay in UK (WP + HSMP) and would be entitled to apply for ILR.

Can you pls. guide on following points:-

1) Do I need to take "Life in UK test"? Does, my wife also need to take that test?

2) Can I apply in person for ILR at PEO for self + dependants?

3) When should I call them to take a appointment?

4) Can I use the same Employer experience certificate for WP + HSMP?

5) Can you pls. guide which supporting documents, I should carry?

All applicants aged 18 and above need to take the test. So, yes, you and your wife, and anyone else 18 or over, need to take the test.

Yes.

You can apply for ILR 5 years less 28 days from the date you entered the UK.

Don't know the answer.
