UK citizen moving to Ireland With Non EU spouse

Post by anvish » Sat Feb 14, 2015 4:26 pm

Hi

I am planning to move to Ireland as a student (a 7 month course),I am a UK citizen, my wife is an Indian national, we chose to apply for an Ireland Directive 2004/38/EC Visa, my question is:

1. What type of supportive document we need to submit?
2. Can my wife and me travel together to Ireland?
3. for an Ireland Directive 2004/38/EC Visa is it must to show return flight ticket for my non EU spouse?
4. I am still in UK and my Wife in India, so do I need to show any residence supportive document (hotel booking or house in Ireland) ?
5. is it ok to send Attested copies my passport as supportive document?

Thank You

Hi Anvish,

There's alot of questions there. Firstly, in order to apply for EU Treaty Rights in the State, you both must be in Ireland. Therefore, step 1 will be coming to Ireland.
