my friend wife who is EU national living in uk for over 6 years and economically active through full time employment. she wants to apply for EEA3. She went to citizen advice bureau and they told her she cant apply for it as UKBA stopped issuing EEA3 to EU national.
Is it true???
Please let me know. I even try to get to UKBA website they have changed the website format and its so hard to find any information. please also give me the links.

thanks.

My wife applied yesterday, based on 4 years and 11 months exercising treaty rights as a worker, she is still in employment. Unforunately, she lost her WRS certificate, however she managed to locate the acknowledgement letter received from Home Office when she applied for WRS. will see how it goes.

Applied: 16/02
Received: 17/02

Will keep you posted.
GOD BLESS

Permanent Residence

Hi All,

I need people with experience on PR to please advise me here. This is my time line in the UK

Came to the UK in February, 2010 and was issued with a Purple Card in July, 2010 to work as an Au Pair for a family.
After 1 year, in October, 2011 I was issued with Blue Card Registration Certificate ( though I continued working as an Au Pair till March, 2012
March to July, 2012 I registered as a Jobseeker at the Job centre
July, 2012 I got a job as an interpreter with the city council and have been working there till today
I have documents to show that I have been living and working (Au Pair and Interpreter) in the UK for 5 years.

My question: Can I apply for Permanent Residence as someone that is exercising treaty right in the UK?

Pls I need people advise on this platform so I can make informed decision on my application.

Thanks,
