Success story- EEA family permit and Traveling question

Post by Sunshine86 » Thu Feb 19, 2015 10:30 am

Hi All

So that you all know my story, I applied for the EEA family permit and received it within two weeks.
So initially,
Irish Residence card applied on 30th Mar. 2014
Received Stamp4 on 30th April 2014
Received Residence card on 20th Aug 2014.

Applied for EEA family Permit on the 2nd Feb 2015
Received on the 13th Feb 2015

Thank you for all your help here and let me know if anyone has any questions.

However,
I do have a question on travelling here, can you please advise-

Since my EEA family Permit say to Accompany my husband, can I still travel on my own to enter back into the UK whilst the EEA2 application is in process.

I have plans to travel outside the UK for a month and will only leave once I have the COA in my hand.

Therefore when I will return back on my own on EEA family permit and COA, do you think I would have issues either
a) on the flight or
b) at the UK immigration

Please note I would still be holding the valid EEA family permit during this time, so can I still travel alone and enter back into the UK?

Please advise.
