shifting the goalposts on naturalization time frame?

Post by uws_nw1 » Sat Feb 21, 2015 1:06 am

Do you know if there are any applicants who applied in August 2014 (or later) and who have since received their naturalization, within the given 6-month limit?

If not, I'm wondering if it's indeed true that Home Office has sent out delay notices to every single post-August 2014 applicant, saying that there will now be an additional 3-6 month delay because of unexplained new rules?

This last-minute shifting of the goalposts (just two weeks before the 6-month response deadline) has caused a lot of pain and confusion.

If you have thoughts or info on the matter, please let us know. Thanks!

Yes a lot of people have received approval since August. There are time lines for every month where people update their application status. According to my calculations, more than 70% of applicants from each month here have received their approvals(until December).
