Photos for OCI

Hi,

Please could someone let me know how many photos are required for OCI application? Is it:

1 pasted on Part A application and one extra photo- 2 in total?
or
1 pasted on Part A application and two extra photos- 3 in total?

You did not specify if you are applying in person or is it postal application.

1 pasted on Part A application and one extra photo- 2 in total? <- is sufficient
And remember; you are interacting with INDIANs. So if you are going in person better take a couple of more (if you can).
If you are going to birmingham, there is a photo booth next to the consulate.

I went for in-person application and I had only 2 photos with me: one affixed in the application and second was asked in the counter where I gave.

I am also bit worried now.. recently I have submitted OCI application in person in Birmingham, the person on counter asked many documents etc.. but he hasn't asked me to provide extra photo ( however one was affixed on form). After reading this post I rechecked list of documents on CGI-Birmingham site, where they clearly mentioned for two photos.

I wrote a mail to them about this.. but haven't heard anything yet.

Any one on this forum, who has submitted only one photo, when applied in person and got everything in time ?
