Spouse visa issued for 10 months less than mine?

Hi,

I've been approved a couple months ago but we were just denied a small loan (which we were otherwise approved for) because my wife's visa expires Feb/16 whilst mine is valid until Dec/16.

I am the sponsored employee, she is the dependent. Incidentally, she earns twice what I do!

Was this a mistake on Immigration's part? If so, any advice how I go about rectifying it?
