Dose anyone know when the US Congress will pass another {255 i immigration law} ,like the one back in 2001 which allowed illegal immigrants to apply for adjustment of status.Thank You

I woud not expect ANYTHING to get passed (or even brought to a vote) before the 2008 election. There will be a lot of talk about immigration in the lead up to the election but I don't think there will be anything else, just a lot of people blowing smoke. After that, it will depend on who wins the White House, and who control gets control of Congress, and by how much. In any case, I wouldn't expect any major legislation regarding immigration to come out for quite a while. Just my opinion.
