what to expect oci booklet or sticker on British passport ?

Hi,
I have applied for my daughter's OCI card on 24 feb 2015.Now my question is do the endorse OCI sticker on to British passport or do they give you different OCI booklet ?

I don't we don't need to submit original passport?

I am applying for my son oci card at vfs London next week
Just wondered if we need to submit original British passport
And how many days process to get oci card

My personal feeling is that VFS is just a facilitator (a front end office for IHC)
So the rules and application procedures I guess will be same. Instead of going to HCI and applying, you would have to go to VFS and so it is one more level of abstraction.
As per original method, while applying you have to only submit copy of your British passport. It usually (as per the site) takes 8 weeks for approval. Once you are notified of approval you have to send your Original passport and OCI booklet will be posted along with your passport back to you in 2 weeks time.
To this you may add some more time for VFS<->IHC communications
