Dear All,

Please comment as to whether a "British Bachelor (Ordinary) degree standard" is acceptable as a Bachelor Degree from HSMP i.e. 30 Point.

Your comments would come in handy to alot of people.

Honours and Ordinary make no difference as far as HO is concern, so you should get 30 points for it.

Hi,

Thank you in advance for a very informative website.

Could anybody please confirm if I can get points by submitting my Bachelor's Degree Ordinary (assessed by UK NARIC) with relevant college documents and a Medium of Instruction Certificate which states that my course Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering was tought in English?

I checked the Points-Based Calculator but I could not get any points in English Language criteria.

By the way I am applying for Tier 2 General Visa category.

Please need your advice if I the documents relating to english is good enough to move forward or do I have to take IELTS?

Best regards and more power to this site.

Allan
